Q. WHAT IS A FREEZE DRIED FLOWER.

A. Floral Preservation by means of freeze drying is accomplished by a scientific process called "culmination" in which the flowers are frozen to 25 degreees below zero. Freeze drying is the most technologically advanced of all floral preservation.
In using this method your flowers look as beautiful as they did on your wedding day. Your flowers will retain their original shape and size most colours will remain true, but some will darken, and some shades of pink slightly change too.

Q. Why should I preserve my flowers?

A. This is a once -in -a-lifetime opportunity to save your wedding memories in a presentation to be displayed in your home for many years to come. Other items to consider including in the design, are your invitations and other wedding mementos.

Q. What is the first step to preserve my wedding bouquet?

A. Make preserving your flowers part of your wedding plans. Call prior to your wedding to select the type of frame and for us to make arrangements to receive your flowers as fresh as possible.

Q. Do all types of flowers and foliages freeze as well?

A. Not all foliages freeze -dry as well, so we replace with similar preserved greenery, and any flowers that arrive in bad condition we shall replace them . On arrival we photograph your bouquet its style shape note down its contents, then we carefully dismantle it ready for the preservation process. The finished arrangement will be as near as possible to your bouquet, but the frame you chose will affect the overall size.

Q. How long will my arrangement last?

A. We coat your flowers with special formulated inhibitors and colour enhancers to protect and prolong the life of your flowers, however we will advise you to place the final arrangement in you home ,out of direct sunlight and to avoid placing in damp /humid areas. With this care they will last for many years to come.

We do not claim to "archive botanicals" but they will be a treasured memento for you to keep for many years, they last as long / or longer than any other form of preservation, if cared for in the correct way {care information given with finished product.}

Any other queries on the freeze- drying process please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will do our best to help.
